Before we hit the air on PBS12 this week, I read an opinion piece in The Denver Post written by Colorado State University President Amy Parsons and I knew right away, I wanted to share it to close out this week's Colorado Inside Out.
Amy Parsons open up about an important life lesson. She chronicles how an experience from her college internship at the White House in 1995, and how she reacted to it back then, ended up guiding how she leads others now... she leads with empathy before judgement!
You may recall, in '95, the White House had a much-publicized intern class.
Again, thank you President Parsons for committing to engage fully, speak out early, and lead with empathy... and reminding all of us to do the same!
